2013-1 Hi-Fi Audio Amplifier

As part as the term project for a course called “Audio Electronics Studio” I made a Hi-Fi Audio Amplifier based on this online instructions: Power Amp and Preamp.

The core of the amplifier was a STK4221V, an predeisgned power amplifier that needed only to be inserted into a designed PCB.

The amplifier was then built into an old Sony Trinitron, leaving the channel controls as the inputs, and the volume and screen controls as the amp volume, balance, bass and trebble.

It was a really fun project to build, and besides not being an electrical engineer, I got to learn a lot about basic electronics, and electronic product building.

Here’s some photos and a video of the amp working.
